CONTRACTORS ARE SELLING THE SAND

Locals are angry at the way the authorities are being used to sell the sand at low cost in the name of development works for public works and how to sell private individuals. In the past, tonnes of sand was given to Rs 600 and now it is Rs 1500. Many have claimed that the sand is shifting away. The sarkar regulations have been permitted to obtain permission from the relevant authorities if the sand is required for mariation and other government development works. This led to the construction of the tanks under Mission Kakatiya and the sand was taken by the contractors. So far, the contractor has purchased sand over the need for mission work. After completing the works, the sand is sold to private individuals at high prices and another danda shuru. The government has released Rs.3.17 crores under the Kakatiya Scheme for the construction of the Kaurivagai New Tank Chevall at Banswara Mandal Nagarappilly village. Cognac in the respective contractor laborers, from the sand rack of the river banks, purchased the sand at the highest price. Nagasanpalli Corridor Checkwall works are now complete.

However,On the other hand, SI Ramana Reddy said that sandy smuggling in their jurisdiction was taking place and the order was received from top officials. As soon as the checks were done, two sands of tractors from Nagasanpalli to Barwad crossed the line. Asked where the sand was being brought from, the tractor owners said they bought the sand from the respective contractor at Nagasanpalli Koriwaguwa checkwall. The case has been registered against the tractor owners who have been illegally screwed up and two tractors have been seized.
