URBAN FOREST PARKS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN URBAN AREAS

Urban Forest Parks will be available to people in urban areas as soon as possible, with Chief Secretary SK. Joshi ordered the relevant departments.The CM said that the Chief Minister's ambition was to develop some of the areas of each forest block and make it available to Urban Park to the nearby towns. A review meeting was held at the Secretariat on the development of parks with other branches in the areas covered by the Forest Department. Initially, 129 of the 188 Forest Blocks around Hyderabad were found to be ideal for parks development. 70 of them will be upgraded into forest conservation zones.In all, 52 areas were identified as urban forest parks and seven areas to be developed as ecotourism zones. All of these are spread across six districts, including Hyderabad. 26 Parks in Rangareddy district, 11 in Medchal, 6 in Yadav, 6 in Medak, 3 in Sangarreddi, 3 in Siddipeta and 1 in Hyderabad. These fifty-two forest parks were initially planned to be developed by Forestry 15, HMD17, GHM3, TSII 11, Forest Development Development Corporation 4 and Metro Rail 2. The meeting also discussed the funding and human resources mobilization.

The CS suggested that the branches would be able to use their own funds, while others would be able to use corporate social responsibility funds. The department will take charge of the management if the various branches are improving urban parks and handing them back to the Forest Department. Eco tourism will be developed in seven other areas under the Forest Department. The tourism department incorporates these seven areas. There will be four eco-tourism parks in the three districts of Maddal district, Yadadri District. The Chief Minister has ordered that all of these be completed in phases in the next two years and that all departments should work in that direction. S suggested. The town is close to urban areas and decided to clear all Urban Forest Parks and Eco-Tourism Places to provide health, pleasure and cruise facilities to the people. The forest department has already taken a number of areas in Urban Parks and has a good response from people, Bhagya Nagar Nandanvanam, Medipally Forest Park and Kandlokiya Oxygen Parks.The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary of Forests Ajay Mishra, Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, Roads Roads Chief Secretary Sunil Sharma, Industries and IIT Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Commissioner Chiranjeevi, Panchayati Raj Secretary Vikas Raj, Kalyan Chakravarti, Kay. Jha, CM ODD Priyanka Varghese, Additional Forest Conservation Officer M. Doctoral, retired Dr. Manoranjan Bhanja, Sunita Bhagwat and Narsinhareddi from the Department of Tourism attended.
