MARKETING DEPARTMENT REACHED 85 PERCENT OF THE TARGET

The Telangana State will record new records in the purchase of Yasangi Grain. As many as 38 lakh 49,843 metric tonnes of foodgrains were purchased in the state as against the target of 28 lakh 50,000 metric tonnes. Within four days, the Citizenship Department decided to open the purchase process and increased the purchased speed. The target is to buy 4 lakh 50,000 metric tons of cereals this year through 220 purchasing centers in Nallagonda district and 4 lakh 23,568 tonnes. It is currently being bought only by 30 centers. In second place Nizamabad district bought 2 lakh 97 thousand tonnes. In the third place, Jagathithala bought 2 lakhs 31 thousand tonnes. In Suryapet district, 1 lakh to 45,000 tonnes of 57 thousand tonnes in Suryapet district, Yadadri bought 1 lakh 73,000 tonnes of 2 lakh 10 thousand tonnes in Bhubaneshi district.

In the state, around Rs, 4,279 crores has been purchased and Rs 2,100 crore has been paid and the farmers are in circulation for the rest of the money. In Nalgonda district, so far 673 crores 47 lakh grains were purchased and 392 crores 68 lakhs were completed. Citizenship officials say that the state government has been able to raise another 2,000 crore loan from the central bank and pay the process of payment, as the bankers have put in cash payment with cash balance issues in the wake of the farmer's scheme. It is said that the payment of the loan amount will be given to the state government within two to three days. Last year, Yangshi bought 23,400 tons of cargo for the period of last year's production of 83,425 tons. Cereal procurement has been initiated by the Citizenship Corporation for the custom milling of millers collected from the grain purchasing process. Rice procurement has already reached 18 lakh 21,000 metric tonnes of rice procurement across the state and has already reached 2 lakh tonnes of rice. The consolidation of the Custom Millet rice will help speed up the PDS rice distribution, besides the rural poor for hostels, schools and Anganwadi workers.
