Minister Harish Rao said that the fourth largest river in the country is to save it as Krishna. On Tuesday, the National Conference on Krishnanidhi Reinjivanam under the auspices of Telangana Water Resources Development Corporation, India Water Council in Mokshukundam Vishweshwarar Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Harish  Rao, Minister of Drinking Water and Natural Gas said, "The revival of the Krishna River is a blessing. The mission of the Telangana government has been taken up by Kakatiya for the renaissance of the rivers.

He said six thousand tanks have been renovated in the Krishna Basin. The irrigation water will be provided to 37 lakh acres of land with the Kaleshwaram project, which was launched by the Government of Telangana. The Kaleswara Project will have water for 365 days. Harish Rao is the only Chief KCR who has released most of the funds for irrigation projects in the country. The water generated by water in Maharashtra is being dropped into the Arabian Sea. If you leave that water in the water, you can generate electricity in five states in our state. The responsibility to protect the rivers is on all of us. CM KCR has been building large-scale projects because of the value of water. 

Harish Rao said that efforts should be made to wastewater into the sea. We are renovating ponds in the name of the mission of Kakatiya and the groundwater has increased. Agricultural production has increased in Telangana due to Mission Kakatiya, and fish production has increased by 62 percent. The Minister said the construction of various projects in Mahabubnagar district was part of Krishna water conservation. KALAKKURTY LIFE Irrigation, which is a hundred years long, has been given water for six and a half lakh acres. Every year from Karnataka Dam, 100 tons of water is being used for power generation and the water is completely wasted in the Arabian Sea. Suggesting that it would be possible to produce more power than it was wasted. Minister Harish Rao said that if the rivers are not protected, loss of livelihood will be damaged. Take up the tree-growing program with greenery. The government will work to revive the mosques. In the Krishna Basin, rainfall is low and people have not been able to use Krishna water. We have provided irrigation water for 6 lakhs 50,000 acres from the Krishna River. The migrant community vice president Niranjan Reddy, Water Man of India Rajender and Chairman of Water Resources Development V. V. Prakash and others participated.
